Just a heads-up to our friends and members – due to increased shipping and postage charges in late January, an across-the-board price increase takes effect in February for Bookstore publications. Items #432 through #543 will not be effected by this change. This is a good time to order those books you’ve been considering for purchase. Click on the Bookstore link and start shopping.

Digital IP Archive Project
We are excited about our special digitizing project for the IP Archive Library but we NEED YOUR HELP!
Our Digital Archive Project will make this website the "go to" place for Holy Land research. Besides preserving our library of Israel Philatelist journals, they will be indexed and searchable for our Society philatelists another great benefit of membership in the SIP.
Please send a check payable to the Education Fund Archive Project to P.O. Box 507, Northfield, OH 44067 or click on this link to contribute through Paypal. Digital Archive Project

It’s not too soon to start planning for the 2012 Society of Israel Philatelists Convention, affiliated with the APS STAMPSHOW in Sacramento, CA from August 16-19. Conventions are a great way to meet fellow members, learn what’s going on in the philatelic world and specifically the SIP and display your treasures. Turn your ‘accumulation’ into a ‘collection’ and plan to exhibit at this national show. Special room rates of $139/night are available at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento, right across the street from the Sacramento Convention Center. Request the APS room block for the show. 800-233-1234. Prospectus and Entry forms are available at http://stamps.org/SS-Exhibitors. Admission to the show is free. Preregistration is recommended to avoid long lines at registration.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. We still need volunteers for the Controller and Webmaster positions. Please contact Mike Bass at mbass@israelstamps.com, for more information.
