Israel Stamp "Quantity Sold" Data

I have been collecting Israel stamps for about 30 years and have seen very little written in that time on the number of each issue printed and sold. The best reference that I have seen is in an early Bale Catalog, but even that was far from complete. Do Israeli officials have and publish this information? Has there been any authoritative study to determine how many copies of each issue have been produced and sold? Thank you.

Get a copy of Israel Postage Stamps, catalog number 14. They are sold by Israel Post and cost about $45. There is a wealth of information and the book is well worth the cost. Go to www.israelpost.co.il. (external link)
