Minnesota

MIPS/ATA meetings/programs are held 2-3 times per year. For more information, contact Ray Getsug at rayg669563@aol.com.

MIPS/ATA was formed in September 1993 as the result of a merger of the Minnesota Israel Philatelic Society (MIPS) and a local chapter of the American Topical Association. The ATA chapter had been founded in 1957, but had been inactive for about 10 years. MIPS began in 1972 as an organization for collectors of Israeli and Holyland stamps and covers. It then evolved into more of a general interest club.

MIPS/ATA is affiliated with the American Philatelic Society, the American Topical Association, and The Society of Israel Philatelists.
